First Post!

Hey everyone.

Wow. The wonder of the world wide web. Does anyone else find it kind of odd that we can keep public journals online. Geez, what will they think of next.

I guess I should give you all a little background on myself and why I am making this blog. I am 19, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (the mormons), and I am bisexual. Yeah, I know.

I started this blog mainly so I would have somewhere to write down some of the thoughts I have about living like this. I think most of us know by now that Mormons are not known for being the most excepting of LGBT persons, and I hope in will be helpful and enlightening for myself and for all of you to see a record of how this goes down.

Now, understand, this is not a blog about blasting the Mormon church. Far from it. I am an active Mormon and believe its principles and teachings with all my heart. I am actually getting ready to serve on a mission for the church here in a few months, a two year commitment.

This is also not a blog about me trying to destroy "These unholy and carnal feelings." I tried doing that already. Trust me, it is not healthy. I have since excepted who and what I am, and I think that is what God would want.

What this blog is really about is more or less for me to record the experiances I have for myself and also for you guys. Some of you might be a Mormon and a member of the LGBT community, and might feel alone. I hope this blog will help you to see that there are others out there. Some of you might not be Mormon but would like to know how living as a Mormon and a Bisexual works, and I hope you find this blog informative. I would love to have anyone who wants to comment and ask questions. This is for us, for all of us, Mormon or not, Straight or not, to learn more about eachother. The only way we can all live with love and understanding is to learn, and I hope this blog helps with that.

Well, thats all for now. I will be posting more soon, and I will try to make this blog more aesthetically pleasing. Little bland right now, dont you think?

Until then,
